In an event of a hurricane disaster and hurricane preparedness, this storm response story map provides NOAA Hurricane Center resources, active storm updates, live weather maps, power outage maps, evacuation reference info, estimated storm surge maps, and the NAPSG storm damage crowdsourcing GIS Hub.
Storm Surge Web App
In an event of a hurricane disaster and hurricane preparedness, this storm surge map provides NOAA’s SLOSH Model storm surge probabilities. These storm-produced flooding estimates are derived from calculated storm scenarios and elevation data. During a hurricane event, check-in regularly with the NOAA Hurricane Center, National Weather Service, and your local emergency management authorities for real-time flooding and evacuation updates and instructions.
